For employers
A recovery benefit that keeps working after treatment ends.
Accountable gives employees in recovery from alcohol or drug use the same certified peer coach every week, at-home testing, a group every day, and a care team they choose. Delivered from home, in all 50 states. You pay only for the employees who enroll and stay engaged.
No per-employee fee. Nothing to integrate.
Your monthly report shows enrollment and engagement for the program. Test results and session notes stay between the employee and the people they've chosen.
Where we fit
The year after treatment is where most benefit plans go quiet.
An employee takes leave, goes to treatment, and comes back. The EAP sessions run out. The outpatient program discharges them. Their manager wants to help and has no idea how. The structure that got them to day 30 disappears right when they're back in the environment where the problem started.
Accountable is the level of care built for that year. The American Society of Addiction Medicine calls it Level 1.0, long-term remission monitoring: regular check-ins, monitoring, and a fast way back into care if someone slips. We deliver it with certified peer coaches who are in recovery themselves, so the person on the other end of the call has been where your employee is.
What's included
Everything a self-pay member gets
- Weekly one-on-one coaching with the same certified peer specialist
- Remote breathalyzer monitoring, twice a day
- Random at-home saliva screening, at least weekly
- Daily recovery groups on video
- Care coordination with the clinicians and family the employee names
- A weekly family group for the people at home
Aligned to the ASAM Criteria, 4th Edition, Level 1.0. Delivered from home, nationwide.
The program
Four things, every week, from the employee's own phone.
The same coach every week
A certified peer recovery specialist who has been through it. One-on-one on video, weekly, with messaging in between. The coach stays the same for the whole program.
Testing at home
Remote breathalyzer checks and saliva screening that is randomly assigned during the week. The employee does not pick the days. They do pick who sees the results.
A group every day
Daily recovery groups on video, open to every member, led by people in recovery. Nobody has to explain where they're going at 7pm.
A care team they choose
Therapist, prescriber, spouse, sponsor, EAP counselor. The employee picks who is in the loop and how much each person sees. Nobody else gets a report.
How it works for you
Live in a couple of weeks, with no eligibility file and nothing to integrate.
We set up your program
One intro call. You get an enrollment link and a phone line your HR team, EAP, and managers can hand to anyone who needs it. There is nothing to install and no eligibility file to send us.
Employees enroll themselves
Signing up takes a few minutes online or on the phone with our Care Team. The breathalyzer ships free, and the first coaching session is usually within a week of enrollment.
The program runs from home
Weekly coaching, daily groups, testing, and care coordination, on the employee's own phone. Nothing happens at the office unless the employee wants it to.
You see the program, not the person
A monthly summary of enrollment, engagement, and retention in the program, de-identified. You are invoiced per engaged member, so the report and the bill match.
Privacy
Confidential by design. That's what makes employees sign up.
Nobody enrolls in a recovery program they think will end up in their personnel file. So we built it the other way around: the employee owns their data, chooses who sees it, and can change that choice at any time. You get the numbers you need to run the benefit. You never get a name you didn't already have.
The employee controls sharing
Test results and session notes go only to the people the employee names, with a signed release. A manager, HR, or an EAP counselor can be one of those people if the employee wants them to be.
You see the program, not the person
Monthly reporting covers enrollment, engagement, and retention in the program, de-identified.
Built to the standard
HIPAA compliant, SOC 2 certified, and accredited by The Joint Commission for Behavioral Health Care and Human Services.
Pricing
Pay for engagement, not headcount.
Employer programs are billed per engaged member, per month, at the same tiers our self-pay members choose from. There is no per-employee-per-month fee for the people who never use it, and no charge for a member who stops engaging. One invoice, one report, every month.

The coaches
People who have done the job your employee is about to do.
Every Accountable coach is a certified peer specialist in recovery. The coaching happens inside the employee's real week, on a Tuesday night after a hard day at work, which is where it has to hold.

What employers ask us.

Tell us what you're trying to solve.
A return-to-work situation you're handling right now. A gap in the benefit you keep hearing about from managers. A question about whether this fits your size. Send a note and a real person on our partnerships team will write back, usually the same day.
